Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced the full implementation of the Optimus humanoid robots in production. Mass use of humanoid robots in Tesla operations will begin in 2025, Musk wrote on the social network X.

According to Musk, Tesla will begin mass production of Optimus robots for the overseas market in 2026.

In 2022, Tesla unveiled the first version of its humanoid robot, Optimus. The prototype walked up onto the stage independently, greeted the audience and danced a bit.

In December 2023, Tesla showed off a new version of the Optimus Gen 2 humanoid robot. It moves 30% faster than its predecessor and has sensors installed on its fingertips.
