Wildberries has once again updated its offer for Russian sellers: instructions on labelling and packaging have been added, the list of products prohibited for sale has been updated, and the calculation of compensation for lost products has been simplified. This was reported by the Wildberries Telegram channel for entrepreneurs “WB Partners”.
The site also updated its rules for users. The company called this a technical procedure.

Wildberries has added links to instructions on product labelling and packaging in clauses 10.1.1, 10.2.11, 10.2.12 and 10.3.
Added information about the service for changing the owner of a personal account on the seller portal. Full access rights can be transferred to another person (new manager or partner). It will cost 7.7 rubles. You need to pay for the service using the data of the current owner. This information is now reflected in clause 13.9.
The list of goods prohibited for sale has been updated. Smoking mixes and sticks without tobacco and nicotine for tobacco heating systems have been added; pipes and mouthpieces of any kind, as well as tobacco smoking plugs; certificates, coupons, promotional codes, discounts and other types of commercial offers for the purchase of animals; weapon dolls. The changes affected clauses 8.1, 9.1, 9.2, 10 of the List of Prohibited Goods.
Updated information on the commission increase for late delivery of an order under the “Showcase Express” sales model. The commission will be 1% for each hour of delay of the order. This is set out in clause 12.7.2.
The calculation of compensation for lost goods in clause 11.3.6 has been simplified. The average price for the 365 days prior to the day of the last sale in which the product was purchased will now be used for the calculation, taking into account any discounts set by the seller.
Clauses 3.8, 8.12 and 18.4 have been added. Wildberries said this is a legal change that will not technically affect the work of sellers and promised to provide more details later.
In addition to the updated offer for sellers, Wildberries has also made changes to the site’s rules for users. Several RB.RU employees received a document with changes in their personal account on July 23. In particular, it stipulates the buyer’s right to refuse the goods before they are delivered to the delivery point.
The RB.RU exchange’s press service reported that “sometimes when updating the Wildberries app, customers are asked to log back into their personal account and accept the trading platform’s rules.” The company called this a standard technical procedure necessary to continue shopping.
In early July, Wildberries canceled the fine imposed on sellers for failure to comply with mandatory labelling, introduced restrictions on fines for unfulfilled orders and made several other changes.
