The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 has received several important improvements. First of all, the bracelet now comes with a ceramic case that increases its durability and aesthetics. The capsule of the device has become shorter and the bottom frame has narrowed, but still remains thick.
The new ceramic model weighs 22.5 g without a strap, while the Band 8 weighs 14.3 g. Previous-generation straps fit the new version, including magnetic charging.
One of the main improvements is the screen: its brightness has been increased to 1200 nits compared to 600 nits in the previous model. Vibration has also become more pleasant thanks to the use of a linear motor, and two dozen types of vibration are now supported.
Additionally, the accuracy of heart rate and SpO2 sensors has been improved, and autonomy has been increased to 21 days.
