This year, the company appears set to implement new “cross-platform” features like iPhone Mirroring. macOS Sequoia will also feature a new password manager app designed to sync with its counterparts in iOS 18 and iPadOS 18.

The accelerated timeline sees Apple reportedly wrapping up iOS 18.0 development earlier than expected, allowing engineers to focus on iOS 18.1, which will include the company’s long-awaited artificial intelligence, Apple Intelligence.

At the September event, Apple is expected to unveil not only the iPhone 16 and Apple Watch Series 10 but also the AirPods 4.
