Rostec has developed a metal finger prosthesis that helps restore hand function. The company’s press service said that the new prosthesis allows you to hold small objects and work on a computer. It also restores finger length, enabling natural grasping movements. The prosthesis works thanks to the strength of the remaining phalanx.

The prosthesis was created by MPO Metallist experts using 3D printing from aluminum, which makes it both durable and lightweight. The company emphasized that after the completion of the tests, it is planned to start small-scale production of this product.
