Students can now easily access their main documents via the app and the State Services portal. With electronic student IDs and records always at hand, forgetting or losing them has become impossible. To show your student ID, simply show the QR code on your smartphone screen.
Currently, over 640,000 students from 76 universities can benefit from the new service. More than 90 more educational institutions plan to benefit from this opportunity by the end of the year. As a result, one in four students, postgraduates or residents in the country will be able to use electronic documents.
The electronic student ID can be used in various situations. For example, it will be useful to purchase discounted travel tickets, which are automatically applied when registering online through the State Services. Students can also use it to get free or discounted visits to museums, shows and concerts, access to the territory of the educational institution, and to track progress.
To upload documents, you need to go to the “Education” section of the State Services. The student ID will then appear in the app as a QR code that can be scanned to confirm eligibility for a discount or university access. If the data is not displayed, you should contact your university. It is important to remember that electronic documents work in the same way as paper documents and students can use them at their own discretion.
