Softline is entering markets in friendly countries as part of the previously announced international expansion strategy. The office is located in Ho Chi Minh City.
The aim of entering Vietnam is to promote a portfolio of proprietary products and services, including IT solutions based on artificial intelligence and information security.
Vietnam was chosen due to the fact that the country has a high rate of growth in the digitalization of the economy; according to this indicator, the state occupies a leading position in Southeast Asia. According to World Bank data, the country’s digital economy is growing by 10% annually and by 2045 it could exceed $200 billion.
“Before entering the Southeast Asian region, we conduct our own necessary market research, study the IT landscape, participate in specialized exhibitions and conferences where we present our products and solutions. “Vietnam has developed optimal conditions for the formation of a center due to the positive dynamics of digitalization of the economy, a positive attitude towards Russian IT solutions and greater opportunities for selecting qualified technical specialists compared to a number of neighboring countries,” said Alexander Rozhkov, Director of International Business Development at Softline Group.
He added that the level of English among the population is high and senior managers of many clients often speak Russian, which makes communication easier. The company is now establishing partnerships with local market players.
At the end of May, Softline announced its entry into the Middle East market; the IT company decided to open a center in the United Arab Emirates. It will become a knowledge center and will allow promoting Russian solutions and services on the Middle East market.
