Usually in hot weather we charge the laptop to 100%. But this can only worsen the battery situation. The fact is that when the ambient temperature is above +40 degrees Celsius, the final battery charge can be more than 120%. As a result, the battery runs out quite quickly.

If you are buying a laptop, the first thing that is important is to charge the battery correctly. First, charge it to 100% at room temperature, then discharge it to 0% and repeat the process. This will make the battery last much longer.

If your laptop battery is removable, you need to periodically “turn it on”, charge it to 80%, and then put it on the refrigerator door. This will allow the battery to last at least 10 years.

In modern laptops, batteries are mostly non-removable, so to make them last longer, it is recommended to charge them only up to 70%. They should be discharged to a maximum of 20-30%.
