The certification, spotted by ShrimpApplePro, shows that “all iPhone 16 models are tested at 5-15 volts and 3 amps, up to 45 watts.” That’s 50% faster than the iPhone 15 series, which peaked at 27-29W but never reached 30W.

Apple hasn’t officially commented on the iPhone 16’s wired charging capabilities. The company has typically been quiet on this point. Apple only mentions that MagSafe charging now delivers up to 25W when using a compatible adapter.
