Andrey Ulyanov, Director of Automation at Wildberries, noted that over the past two years the company has significantly improved the functioning of its logistics centers and increased the speed of sorting goods more than fourfold. Wildberries plans to automate more than 20 new warehouses and update equipment at existing ones in the near future.
The company has more than 2 million square meters of warehouse space, where more than 30 sorting systems, robots and hundreds of lifting equipment operate. Ulyanov noted that the experience gained in large-scale automation will allow Wildberries to share it with other enterprises and develop new projects.
