The “search circular” will finally work in message bubbles in a future Android 15 update. The functionality was found hidden in the QPR1 Beta 2 version of the operating system.
The new feature solves one usability issue with the “Search Carousel”: It is impossible to activate this when a conversation is open in pop-up format on the screenBy default, gestures are not available when a conversation is expanded.
