To start renting, you need to link the Troika to your Whoosh account and attach it vertically to the reader on the scooter’s dashboard. To complete the rental contract, you will need to perform the same action. The money will be debited from the bank card linked to the user’s account.

“This is another step towards introducing electric scooters into the urban transport system,” Whoosh said.

What do other kickshares say?

MTS Yurenta’s press service told RB.RU that the service is “interested in even deeper integration with the Troika, so that the card can be used to pay for travel,” but such solutions are still being developed.

Yandex Go did not disclose whether the company has plans to integrate with Troika.

  • You can also rent MTS Yurenta, Whoosh and Yandex Go electric scooters through the Moscow Transport app. Kicksharing Lite is also available there.
