Citibank has announced the complete cessation of its mobile and online banking applications. They will no longer be available as of November 23, 2024. This is stated on the bank’s website.

“We encourage you to use Citibank Online and the Citi Mobile app to conduct banking and financial transactions through November 23, 2024,” the message said.
After this date, it will no longer be possible to make transactions through these channels. If you have questions about the service, you can contact the bank’s support service, but only from Monday to Friday, as indicated on the website.
On September 13, Citibank announced that its Russian division would close its last retail branch as of November 15. Customers were asked to complete all transactions before this date.
Citigroup announced in spring 2021 its intention to exit retail banking markets in 13 countries, including Russia. In March 2022, following the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions by the West, the bank stopped attracting new clients in Russia.
