Wildberries director Tatyana Kim announced the creation of a sustainable development department in the company. The entrepreneur published a post about it on her Telegram channel.

All areas of Wildberries Russ related to sustainable development will be accumulated within the new department, Kim clarified. It will be headed by Nadezhda Vorontsova, who has more than 20 years of experience in implementing similar projects in Russia, the market manager added.

“The team is already developing a comprehensive ESG strategy, while creating and implementing initiatives across the united company’s sustainable development agenda. We plan to actively promote the areas of environmental, social and corporate segments,” Kim added.

Sustainable development (ESG) is a set of measures that satisfy human needs while preserving the environment and resources without compromising future generations in meeting their needs.

In July, Kim made personnel changes at Wildberries. The heads of the departments of product development for partners, interaction of entrepreneurs with the platform, a director of public relations and the head of the department of communication with the media industry were appointed.

In June 2024, Wildberries announced a merger with outdoor advertising operator Russ. The companies then founded a joint company, RVB LLC, where Wildberries is 65% owned and the Stinn company, which owns Russ Outdoor, is 35% owned.
