Criminals copy the official profiles of SDEK, Sbermarket, Yandex.Delivery and Delivery Club. They then send a WhatsApp message indicating that your order is ready to be delivered. Users are then sent a phishing link to supposedly provide product details and tracking, which redirects customers to a fake website. There you will need to enter personal data, including the card number, username and password of the online bank.

“The main goal of cybercriminals is to gain access to the user’s bank card, so no suspicious links should be followed,” says Sergei Kuzmenko, director of the Roskachestvo Digital Experience Center.

In the second quarter of 2024, fraudsters stole a record 4.8 billion rubles from the bank accounts of Russians. 97% of them were private funds, and more than half of the thefts were carried out by criminals through the Quick Payment System and remote banking channels.
