Globaltrans is expected to begin repurchasing securities on October 8 and complete the process by November 6 or “such other closing date.” The company is ready to offer investors 520 rubles per receipt.

Globaltrans GDRs on the Moscow Stock Exchange at 18:04 Moscow time were trading at 508.9 rubles, up 3% on the road. At most, they grew by 3.5%, up to 511.35 rubles.

Initially, the shareholders meeting at which the GDR buyback was going to be discussed was scheduled for September 30, but was postponed due to lack of quorum. “The depositary bank, which is the issuer of the company’s global depositary receipts, did not, to the best of the company’s knowledge, take the necessary measures to collect the votes of the holders of the receipts and also did not ensure the participation of its representative in the meeting. “Globaltrans explained the postponement of the meeting.

In September, Globaltrans announced its intention to withdraw its securities from the Moscow Stock Exchange, the St. Petersburg Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange. The company plans to list depositary receipts on the Kazakh AIX platform. In March, Globaltrans completed the re-registration process for Cyprus companies in the United Arab Emirates.

According to its own data, Globaltrans provides services to more than 500 companies from different sectors of the economy and is one of the largest railway operators in Russia.
