Yandex Drive has launched a long-term car rental service with the option to purchase. This was reported to RB.RU by the company’s press service. The service is available to users over 21 years of age with at least two years of driving experience.

Now on Yandex Drive you can rent a car without a down payment and buy it again in 1 to 4 years, depending on the chosen rental period. Rent is paid in equal monthly installments, and the company covers the costs of maintenance, insurance and repairs.
650 cars are offered for rent-to-own in Moscow and St. Petersburg, including the Haval Jolion, Geely Coolray and Honqhi H5 models. The cars are delivered unwrapped and with a mileage of up to 30 thousand kilometers. To buy the car after the end of the lease period, you must pay the remaining amount.
“Part of the fleet is completely new, another part was already rented only by subscription; These cars were not used in carsharing. The history of the car is completely transparent: all cars were owned solely by the leasing center and then by Yandex Drive,” the company noted.
It is not necessary to buy a car: the user can refuse to buy it by paying only the rental payments, Yandex Drive added.
In May 2024, Citydrive launched a long-term car rental service in St. Petersburg, offering cars for up to 365 days.
