According to these leaks, Core Ultra 9 285K can consume up to 349 W of power when the extreme profile is used and its temperature rises from 64°C to 77°C.
These figures are significantly lower compared to the previous model Core i9-14900K. By comparison, the Core Ultra 9 285K’s base power settings are 125W in PL1 mode and 175W in PL2 mode, making it more power efficient even when unlocked.
Note that final results will only be possible after official reviews are expected in the coming weeks.
