Complaints started coming in from WD MyCloud NAS network storage owners who noticed a sharp drop in file transfer speeds after the update.

A benchmark test on a virtual machine with the previous version of Windows 11 23H2 showed that in guest mode the speed reaches 90-100 MB/s, while in the new version of the system this speed is severely limited.

Users tried transferring SMB settings from the old version of the operating system to the new one, but this did not work.

Microsoft has not yet made an official statement on this issue, but it is obvious that this is a bug in the latest update.
