The curious thing is that Meta did not notify him in advance about the start of the blocking.

As Sweeney posted, the first account dedicated to tracking the private jets that disappeared from Instagram and Threads yesterday was Elon Musk’s account. But after several hours, the same thing happened to five others, dedicated to different personalities and businessmen. Initially, Meta’s ban did not affect only those profiles that were dedicated to following Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Although a few hours later they were also suspended.

Meta says tracking private jets is dangerous

Although Instagram and Threads reportedly did not communicate with Jack Sweeney, they did provide an explanation to the press.
