Apple said it would pay between $50,000 and $1 million for hacking into the Private Cloud Compute (PCC) servers used to run Apple Intelligence.
The maximum Apple Security Bounty will be given to someone who learns how to remotely attack a server and use any code with arbitrary rights.
To allow other users to verify PCC, Apple took the unusual step of open sourcing some of the security and privacy verification components of PCC.

Apple also introduced for the first time a set of tools that allow you to test PCC security and simulate attacks directly on the Mac. The virtual research environment is available on a Mac with Apple Silicon, 16GB of RAM, and macOS Sequoia 15.1. It can already be used in the latest version for developers. [Digital Trends]
