At the meeting, issues of compliance with the labor rights of flight and cabin crew members, as well as their work and rest regimes, were discussed. Company employees pointed out the need to strengthen liability measures for passengers who violate the rules of conduct on board and protect crew members from the actions of troublemakers. Representatives of the airline’s management assured that they strive to strictly comply with labor laws and protect the interests of their employees.
Chairman of the Sheremetyevo Aviation Staff Union (SHPLS) Igor Deldyuzhov, who also participated in the meeting, noted that the prosecutor’s office is aware of the situation at the company, but the fundamental problems remain unresolved. He highlighted the issue of the extension of the collective agreement until 2025, which, in his opinion, worsens the rights of workers, and the problems of violation of the rules of working time and rest caused by the reorganization and implementation of the “multi-base” system . This system deprives pilots of legitimate payments for time actually worked.
The second important issue is the violations of crew working time and rest rules caused by the reorganization and centralization of planning. The union points out the non-compliance with Order no. 139 of the Ministry of Transport, which causes changes in work schedules less than 5 days before flights, as well as problems associated with the implementation of the “multi-base” system, which deprives pilots of legal payments for the time actually worked .
Last week, Izvestia reported that Aeroflot received a warning from Rostransnadzor for identified violations related to the “multi-base” system, and must now take corrective measures.
