A US federal court found that Masimo had infringed Apple patents that contributed to the creation of the Apple Watch. Similar solutions used by the manufacturer in its W1 and Freedom smartwatches exclude the version.

In particular, the company unexpectedly used a patented “health module” and charger. The court ordered the company to pay Apple a glass of $250. It should also remove from sale models that violate the patent. True, Masimo doesn’t sell them anymore.

On Friday, a federal jury in Delaware awarded Apple Inc. $250, establishing that the original design of the Masimo Corp. smartwatch. infringes Apple Watch design patents.
