19.01% of the company belongs to the closed mutual investment fund Agro Capital, managed by Alfa Capital. A share of 0.99% remained in the hands of the former main owner of the agricultural holding, Rustem Mirgalimov.

Tavros representative Dmitry Lgovsky confirmed to Shopper’s the change in founder and added that the company’s beneficiary has not changed. The key objectives of the agreement are further development and “expanding opportunities for cooperation with friendly countries, including the Middle East,” Lgovsky specified.

In 2023, Alfa Bank bought 19.01% of the agricultural property, after which Mirgalimov’s share decreased to 80.98%, Kommersant writes. Then, thanks to the agreement, the credit institution received a liquid asset for subsequent resale, and Tavros received money for new projects.

Tavros produces sugar, feed, meat, confectionery and other products. According to Rusprofile, in 2023 Tavros Management Company’s revenue amounted to 184 million rubles and the net loss was 669 million rubles.
