The design was carried out by the competition winners, resulting in the concept created by Astrid Vanhuyse and Kenta Akasaki, together with Nothing designers Adam Bates and Lucy Birley. The basic functions of the smartphone have not changed, but the rear panel now has a green phosphorescent coating that glows slightly in the dark when exposed to sunlight.

The packaging of the new product also received an updated design with light-reflecting elements and a close-up image of the phone. Designer Ian Henry Simmonds worked on this.

A new wallpaper collection called the “Connected Collection”, created by Andres Mateos in collaboration with Nothing designers, will also be available on the device. In the Phone 2A Plus Community Edition campaign, “Find your light. Capture your light” Developed by Sonia Palma.

The smartphone will go on sale on Nothing’s website on November 12 for $399, but will be limited to 1,000 units.
