The market capitalization of the technology giant grew by 235.8% in 2023 and 180.58% in 2024. At the same time, Apple shares rose in price by only 17% in 2024, but CNBC analysts do not rule out the possibility of further growth in Apple quotes if Apple Intelligence launches its own AI (the company currently uses the services of OpenAI partners and is in negotiations with Google).
The main driver of Nvidia’s success is the current rise of artificial intelligence, which continues due to the increase in computing power, which is 90% provided by Nvidia. The company’s profit in the second quarter of 2024 increased by 122% compared to the same period in 2023 and amounted to $30 billion.
Against the background of Nvidia’s positive financial performance, S&P Dow Jones Indices, which manages the Dow Jones index, decided to replace Intel shares in the index with Nvidia shares, the price of which had fallen almost one and a half times.
