As reported by Kommersant in Muztorg, investments in the project have already reached 200 million rubles. Due to logistical difficulties and high prices, the manufacturing partner was chosen from Chinese contractors.
“Production is already underway in Chinese factories specializing in the production of musical instruments for world-famous Japanese and European brands,” say representatives of Muztorg, without naming specific names, but market experts told Kommersant that we could be talking about Beijing Xinghai Musical Instruments. Co.
The first batch of instruments under the Muzykant LLC private label will include three thousand guitars and one thousand digital pianos; They are expected to be delivered in mid-November. And they will be more affordable than other domestic products, since due to difficulties in obtaining high-quality components, Russian manufacturers have raised prices (by an average of 10-12%).
Since launching a private label poses a significant financial burden, market experts believe that other sellers of musical instruments and equipment will not follow the example of Muztorg, which accounts for 10% to 15% of all sales in the market. b2c segment in Russia.
