So owners of iOS devices can communicate directly with artificial intelligence using text, voice commands and even the camera.

Previously, to use Google Gemini, iPhone users had to launch the Google app and go to the chatbot tab.

In September, Google made accessing Gemini easier by adding customizable shortcuts to the Home screen widget.

The new iOS app includes the Gemini Live feature, which allows for more interactive chat with a bot, similar to ChatGPT’s voice mode. This feature is supported on iPhone and is available in Dynamic Island as well as on the device’s lock screen.

Since Gemini is not integrated with Siri, it does not have full access to iPhone system functions, but it can work with Google services.
