Blender Open Data has published the results of testing the graphics of the top-end Apple M4 Max processor.
According to measurements, the newest chip scored 5208 points in 28 tests. It turned out to be slightly weaker than the mobile connection Nvidia RTX 4080 and slightly more powerful than the RTX 3080 Ti, as well as the RTX 4070. The last two times, for comparison, received 5185 and 5125 points, respectively.
The laptop version of the RTX 4090 turned out to be 30% more powerful than the M4 Max in terms of graphics performance.
Interestingly, the top-end RTX 4090 scores 10,880 points in tests. According to the theory, the upcoming M4 Ultra, which will consist of two M4 Max, could break this record. [9to5]
