A rating of small and medium-sized businesses will be created in Russia

Small and medium-sized businesses, including franchises and branches, as well as business associations, may participate in the qualification. In this way, the main federal lists will be formed by areas of activity, turnover and growth rate.

Companies will be evaluated based on five indices: growth, awareness, future, sales and corporate social responsibility. Ratings will be drawn up based on special markers, in particular, revenue growth, the presence of different communication channels, the implementation of internal corporate social projects, changes in the number of employees, etc.

“Despite the fact that today 6.3 million SMEs do business in Russia, there is no single business qualification for companies in which all areas and regions can compete on equal terms. The use of special regional coefficients will make it possible to compare companies operating in the same field, but in different regions of Russia,” said Lev Kuznetsov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ANO My Business.

According to the head of the small business unit of Promsvyazbank, Irina Zhimerina, the state needs to look for tools to involve entrepreneurs in business development and increase investment activity; the new qualification can become such a tool.

An online system will be created for entrepreneurs, where participants will be able to take training courses, gain access to commercial products on preferential terms and enjoy bonuses and privileges from project partners. Among the latter: hh.ru, VK, Promsvyazbank, Skillbox and the publishing house Mann, Ivanov and Ferber.

Top 1000 and top 100 finalists will receive distinctive quality marks for placement in commercial installations. Thus, the organizers of the rating plan to create a guide for consumers and job seekers.
