The company updated four existing light bulbs and launched three new models for false ceilings, open chandeliers and designer lamps, as well as for large spaces with a single light source.

All light bulbs now support the Matter over Wi-Fi protocol, which allows them to work on a Wi-Fi network, even if you do not pay or lose the Internet, Yandex clarified. Additionally, Matter will help you add multiple bulbs to your smart home at once.

Yandex also introduced smart switches and relays for the first time. The former are available in the classic wired and wireless version; In the latter case, the switch can be placed anywhere. In turn, the relay is placed in the socket and allows you to control a smart home.

All switches and relays work with the low-power Zigbee protocol. The company claims that it allows batteries in wireless devices to operate without problems for several years. Additionally, Zigbee devices can work without the Internet.

Yandex has been developing an ecosystem for smart homes since 2018. In addition to lighting control devices, the company has smart plugs, sensors, hubs, remote controls, stations and televisions with integrated voice assistants.
