Scientists have conducted experiments with quantum computers in which devices exchange quantum “coins” (qubits). These qubits defy the usual laws of physics by allowing devices to communicate with each other even if they are no longer in direct contact. The devices continue to influence each other after reaching a certain distance, opening up the possibility of improving the performance of systems such as autopilots and drones.

The experiment used an IBM quantum computer, which allows qubits to behave like superconductors at temperatures lower than those in space. This approach makes it possible to test effects that cannot be achieved using traditional technologies.
