The turnover of 27% of Wildberries sellers exceeds 500 thousand rubles a month, and 6% reaches 50 million rubles, a market survey timed to coincide with Business Women’s Day on December 19 showed. November. RB.RU learned its results.

More than 550 women participated in the survey. Their average age was 39 years. The most popular age category is 36 to 45 years old, and 59% of salespeople fall into it. More than half of the respondents live in Moscow and St. Petersburg; 63% of saleswomen live in cities with a population of more than one million.
More than 85% of salespeople are mothers, 14% of respondents were mothers of many children, and 18% plan to have another child in the near future.
Almost a quarter of respondents started trading in the market while on maternity leave. 85% of salespeople turned to Wildberries after the COVID-19 pandemic. 32% of respondents continue to work on a contract basis, trading with Wildberries, another 32% left their previous job and went into entrepreneurship.
The most popular category sold through Wildberries among women was clothing (22%), followed by home and beauty products (8%). 86% of saleswomen started their own business. More than half responded that selling products on the site allows them to spend more time with their family.
Wildberries also surveyed more than 500 pick-up point owners. For 60% of them this is their main job. Survey participants said they value stable employment (60%) and the ability to be confident in their ability to support a child (52%).
Previously, Wildberries announced plans to build employee dormitories to optimize its housing rental costs around warehouses. In November, the company launched its own gas station network for Wildberries drivers.
