Today, finding high-quality sound at an affordable price is a real challenge. For many audiophiles, digital music often does not convey the depth of sound that can be felt when listening to vinyl records.

Until recently, I was one of those who listened to Apple Music and other streaming services all the time. Their qualities are sufficient. But everything has changed, it’s worth taking true vinyl.

Now I understand that we need to come to a new format of music that allows us not only to listen, but also to merge with the music; this is a completely different level. Thanks to the new Lenco L30 BK turntable, which changed my worldview. He also knows how to digitize music.

I’ll tell you about all the features of the device.

Briefly:

  • The set is strict, nothing strange
Case design and materials. Noble tree
    Characteristics and Features
    Audio Technica cartridge included
The sound is good, suitable for most
A good inexpensive player that suits everyone

The set is strict, nothing strange

A fairly compact player with a 300 mm platter.

The Lenco L30 BK box contains a set of accessories, including the player itself, a transparent protective cover, a USB cable and instructions. The transparent cover will protect you from dust and dirt, which is especially important for the safety of records.

The player is immediately ready to use after unpacking, no need to bother with settings. The cartridge and head are already installed on the tonearm, eliminating the need for additional assembly and allowing you to get straight to listening. You just need to remove the plug from the needle.

Case design and materials. Noble tree

Looks better than it really is

Lenco L30 BK is made in strict black color, the body is made of varnished wood. This finish is a defective, laconic, neutral look that appears in any interior: from “grandmother’s” to modern high-tech.

It looks minimalistic and does not pay attention to unnecessary details, which I personally appreciated. This is a “bought, installed, listen” player, without any extra hassles.

Wooden body is enough easy (only 3.1 kg), which makes the device easy to move. However, it requires installation on a flat and stable surface for basic vibrations. The transparent cover protects from dust, keeping it clean even during long periods of inactivity. I will only note that you need to clean the device with a slightly dry or slightly damp cloth, preferably made of microfiber.

There are several ports connected at the back: two RCA jacks (a cable for them is included), USB and power. To the right of them there is a snap-off power button. You can and should connect external speakers.

Low comfortable comfortable legs with rubberized bottomtherefore the player does not slip on any surface. They also “walk” slightly, which compensates for excess vibrations.

The original housing contains a plastic support disk, which is driven by a replaceable drive. The motor that drives the support disk is located in the housing not directly under the disk, but slightly to the side. So it does not affect the toner in any way with all possible microvibrations.

The entire top part of the player is covered with a transparent dust cover, and it can be closed while the Lenco L-30 BK is in operation, so that no one accidentally pushes the tonearm or grabs the record with their fingers.

The tonearm in this turntable is plastic and the counterweight is metal. Adjust the downforce that occurs with its help – you need to carefully move the iron cylinder forward or backward to achieve the best result.

Characteristics and Features

Any records fit here completely

Lenco L30 BK supports two standard bit rates: 33 and 45 rpm, which allows you to play vinyl records of different formats and years of release. Switching between speeds is done manually, allowing precise and easy control using a mobile phone.

The belt drive on which the turntable operates makes it quite quiet and causes the appearance of extraneous noise characteristic of a device with a rotary drive.

It also ensures smooth rotation of the record, which is especially important for clear sound. The player is equipped with a built-in preamplifier, so it can be connected directly to active speakers or acoustic systems. There is no need to purchase an external amplifier.

In addition, there is Auto-stop function. This is especially cool because in its absence, the turntable left in operation will terminate the record, and the needle will move to the final ring groove, where it will circle forever. At the same time, it will wear out; the life of the needle is not that long.

Thanks to auto-stop, the tonearm rises independently at the end of the wire.

Other advantages of the Lenco L30 BK include a USB port that allows you to digitize vinyl records. A cool feature for those who want to save rare or valuable records as files to play them on other devices.

Digitization is happening fast and requires minimal requirements, which makes it accessible even to those who do not know how to do it.

Audio Technica cartridge included

The Lenco L30 BK is equipped with an Audio Technica AT-3600L (MMC) cartridge. TACON almost never found in budget playersThis pickup is usually found in more expensive devices. It is easy to replace if something happens. The stylus provides enough precision and sound development for home use, but can be replaced with a more advanced model if necessary. Bottom line: the sound will be better, and you won’t need to change the player body.

The needle is used here the most basicit suits most people. Although its quality is not up to audiophile standards, it provides good signal transmission and a conversion level sufficient for regular listening.

Again. If necessary, you can buy a better quality needle.

The sound is good, suitable for most

The stylus in the tonearm can be quickly replaced

Lenco L30 BK provides balanced sound suitable for home listening to popular genres. The player’s sound is clear and reasonably refined, although some users may find the bass and volume limits limited on more complex tracks.

Built-in preamp beeping that prevents interference and preserves detail in the high and mid frequencies. However, for sophisticated listeners accustomed to richer sound, the Lenco L30 BK may seem a little basic.

The player is great for listening to rock, jazz or pop music, but the sound quality may seem limited on classical and orchestral pieces. The sound of the Lenco L30 BK corresponds to its class and will delight those who do not have high demands on detail, but value stability and clarity of sound.

And yes, there is no built-in speaker here. For some, this may seem like a drawback, but personally, on the contrary, I am happy about it, since it created unnecessary vibrations that reduced the sound quality.

A good inexpensive player that suits everyone

I would love to take it for myself and give it to friends

The Lenco L30 BK is a simple and affordable interchangeable drive turntable with reduced digitization that is ideal for those just getting into the world of vinyl and not ready for the complexities of their setup. There is already a built-in preamplifier, auto-stop. What else do you need?

This model is not intended for audiophiles, but for everyday use at home it will suit most.
