Yandex introduced the AI Assistant API service based on its own YandexGPT 4 neural network, which will allow companies to create AI assistants for their tasks. The service is now available to Yandex Cloud users, according to the company’s Telegram channel.

According to data on the Yandex Cloud website, the service is in the public preview stage. This means that a company that wants to use AI assistants only pays to use the generative model. 1,000 Yandex GPT generation units cost 20 kopecks.
For the AI assistant to work, you must be trained in working documentation in PDF, DOC, TEXT or XLS formats. The neural network will answer employees’ questions based on this information.
Currently, up to a thousand files of up to 128 MB each can be uploaded to AI Assistant. In the future, the company plans to add support for external databases.
“Not all companies have dedicated data science teams that can adapt YandexGPT to specific business scenarios. The AI Assistant API helps simplify this process and easily implement neural networks in applications,” said Grigory Atrepiev, Product Director at Yandex Cloud.
Yandex announced the creation of Yandex B2B Tech on November 15. The business group combined Yandex Cloud and Yandex 360 technologies, as well as other products of the company for corporate clients. The group’s solutions include communication and collaboration tools, artificial intelligence technologies, developer tools, analytics and data management services.
