According to Rusprofile, the son of restaurateur Artemy Vasilchuk abandoned the founders of Hot Dog Bulldog LLC. At the same time, Alexey was directly involved in this business, the newspaper clarified. 27% belonging to Artemy went to the company itself, another 27% remained with Kharlamov and Rustam Khikmatulloev, and 19% remained with Innovator JSC.

Hot Dog Bulldog did not respond to Kommersant’s request. Journalists were unable to contact the other founders of the project.

Most likely, Vasilchuk left the fast food chain because the development plans were not implemented, says Franshiza.ru expert Anna Rozhdestvenskaya. According to her, Hot Dog Bulldog was unable to generate interest among franchise partners due to a “lack of brand strength.”

Vasilchuk and Kharlamov launched a fast food chain in 2021. The co-founders planned to open 20 of their own establishments and about a thousand franchise establishments, Vasilchuk said in July of the same year in an interview with Forbes. Currently, Hot Dog Bulldog has only seven locations.

In 2023, the project’s revenue increased by 3.48% to 178 million rubles, compared to 172 million rubles in 2022. The company closed last year with a loss of 33 million rubles.
