The salary expectations of Russians increased over the year by an average of 16%, up to 73.6 thousand rubles.

According to analysts, the largest increase in salary expectations was recorded among car service workers: 28%. The average amount indicated in a resume increased from 77.7 thousand rubles in 2023 to 99.3 thousand rubles in 2024. Likewise, applications for specialists in food production increased by 22% (up to 58.7 thousand rubles), repairmen of equipment (up to 86 thousand rubles) and cleaners (up to 47.9 thousand rubles).

The leader in growth of salary expectations was Moscow, where applications increased by 25%, reaching 128.2 thousand rubles. The second place was taken by the Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod and Yaroslavl regions: in these regions expectations increased by 21%. Specialists from the Samara and Novosibirsk regions indicate in their resumes a salary that is 20% higher than the previous year, an average of 71.1 thousand and 75.5 thousand rubles, respectively.

The highest salary expectations are traditionally recorded among applicants from Moscow (128.2 thousand rubles) and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (102.5 thousand rubles). St. Petersburg is in third place with requests of 96.3 thousand rubles, followed by the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (81.2 thousand rubles) and Tatarstan (80.7 thousand rubles).

According to the company’s own data, every month more than 16 million people look for work through Avito. Among them are specialists of various professions, from couriers and salesmen to accountants and builders. As of October 2024, more than 7 million users have posted their ads, vacancies, and resumes. The “Work” section is visited by 30.6% of Avito’s audience, which is equivalent to about 16.4 million people per month throughout Russia.
