“The group of companies has identified the areas that it will focus on as part of the promotion of IT products in the Indonesian market. First of all, these are solutions in the field of cybersecurity and industrial solutions based on artificial intelligence in the field of digital transformation, including process robotization,” the statement reads.
It also says that entering a new market is in line with the international expansion strategy, within which Softline opened offices in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam in 2024. In Indonesia, as in other countries, the group plans to create gradually for customers an integrated approach to the provision of IT services: implementation, technical support, maintenance and training.
The holding’s Director of International Business Development, Alexander Rozhkov, expressed confidence that the group’s solutions developed for industry, retail and the financial sector will also be in demand in Indonesia. The senior manager clarified that Softline intends to work with both local clients and local integrators.
The press service explained that Indonesia is among the 20 largest economies in the world and ranks fourth in terms of population, with around 30% of its inhabitants under 30 years of age. Digital infrastructure in the country is actively developing and demand for innovative solutions in various industries is growing, which creates favorable conditions for technological development, Softline added.
Softline was founded in 2002 by Igor Borovikov. The holding company offers solutions for companies, including cybersecurity, import substitution, development and IT infrastructure. In 2023, Softline PJSC’s revenue amounted to 34 billion rubles, up from 36 billion rubles in 2022, and net profit – 99 million rubles.
