A gold chain, or rather gold-plated, not solid, was sold at auction in the United States for more than $40,000: the main characteristic of the item is that it belonged to Mark Zuckerberg.
According to Business Insider, Meta’s owner donated one of his gold chains, specifically the one he wore to his 40th birthday party, to a charity auction hosted by his sister.

Although the auction site estimated the gold-plated necklace’s market value at $425, the winning bid was $40,500.
The winning bidder was an anonymous bidder whose username was simply “close.” The second location was known as ElonRWA (Internet Culture Bureau).
The money went to Inflection Grants, an organization run by two Silicon Valley venture capitalists that gives small grants to young people. The auction was held as part of a charity poker tournament organized by Ariel Zuckerberg.
