Yulia Kolosova, a graduate of the Digital Department of the First Moscow State Medical University named after IM Sechenov, developed an innovative project – interactive scenarios for healthcare workers that will help them practice emergency care skills in critical situations such as bleeding, pulmonary edema and respiratory diseases. anaphylactic shock. This project became one of the contenders for participation in the competition of the All-Russian Scientific School “Young Medicine-2024” in the “Digital Breakthrough” category and will be published in the RSCI and included in the collection of design works. Yulia Kolosova noted that lack of experience and fear of making mistakes often prevent novice doctors from acting confidently in emergency situations. To overcome these problems, a VR simulator was created that allows you to practice skills over and over again in a safe virtual environment. This not only reduces the financial cost of training, but also improves the quality of medical care, since doctors can perform actions without risking the patient’s health.

The project currently includes a prototype of virtual simulators that can be used by both individual specialists and groups of doctors. The program has two modes: training with hints and control without hints. This allows healthcare workers to evaluate their mistakes and improve their skills in real time. Yulia is confident that the simulator will be especially useful in the field of primary care and for highly specialized doctors, and that its cost will be half that of similar solutions. The new VR simulator is planned to be completed and put into operation by 2027.
