Volunteer with a local charity. Giving not only benefits others, but also creates a sense of purpose in life and connection with others.
Participate in social activities. This includes craft workshops, Christmas caroling etc. may contain.
Stay active and spend more time outdoors. Exercise has been proven to benefit mental health.
Reconnect with friends and family. Send a card to say hello, schedule a call or meeting.
However, it is not recommended to have a pet due to the feeling of loneliness. Instead, try volunteering at an animal shelter or hanging out with friends who have pets.
