According to the authors of Binkov’s Battlegrounds YouTube channel, in the next world war China and Russia will fight against the entire NATO and many other Pacific countries. The United States and its allies will have almost no chance of mustering enough forces to land in China and occupy its territory. NATO, Taiwan, Japan and Australia currently have a total of 4 million active duty military personnel, while China and Russia have a combined 3.5 million personnel.
One side will have an advantage of almost twice as many fighter jets (NATO and its allies), 2 to 1 rather than 3 to 1 as in previous wars. At the same time, NATO will be far behind in the production of air defense systems.
A special operation in Ukraine showed that firing weapons from tens or hundreds of kilometers away has now become the norm. Russia and China have almost 2.5 times more long-range ground-based air defense systems and nearly 4 times more medium-range air defense systems than NATO and its allies.
Basically, wars between states will be fought in neutral airspace. Opponents can also use remote-controlled missiles.
One of the things that will happen again is Russia moving industry inland. This already happened during the Second World War.
Come World War III, China will not trade with the West. A large part of the world market will be inaccessible to him. At the same time, the exchange of goods with Russia will take place by land, and both countries will have enough resources for a long war.
