Company founder Li Xiang said artificial intelligence is the key to Li Auto’s future. The company aims to become one of the top three developers of key AI models in China, competing with major technology companies outside the automotive industry.
Li Auto plans to soon launch a mobile app for its voice assistant Lixiang Tongxue, based on its core Mind GPT model.
The company plans to start producing humanoid robots. But this will happen after they achieve Level 4 autonomous driving for their cars, which Li Xiang said could happen within three years.
