The timing of graying is also affected by hair color and nationality. For example, in people with black hair, such as people of the Caucasus and the Middle East, the first white hair may appear at the age of 16-18 and this is considered normal. For Europeans, this process begins later, between the ages of 27 and 45.
The only way to “treat” gray hair is to dye your hair. There is currently no other method to restore natural color.
However, there are also cases of congenital hair depigmentation that can occur from childhood. This type of gray hair, such as piebaldism or tuberous sclerosis, is often associated with genetic diseases and requires medical intervention.
