Analyst Eryaniya Bochkina from Banki.ru explains that even transfers under 100,000 rubles can be carefully verified. Banks also pay attention to customers who make frequent transactions (more than 30 transfers per day or more than 50 transfers per month). Fast transfers, meaning money is transferred within a minute of receipt, are also a warning sign.
Banks are also investigating the nature of card usage. Cards that are not used to pay for essential services, such as utilities or cell phone bills, may seem suspicious. Cards with an average weekly balance of less than 10% of the daily transaction volume are also examined.
