Judging by the leak, the device will be a more affordable version of the flagship GT7 Pro, retaining some of its basic features but with reduced functions.
According to Insider Digital Chat Station, the new Realme GT7 will retain the high-end Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and 6.78-inch LTPO display with 1.5K resolution with a built-in ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The smartphone will have a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle module, but it will lack the periscope zoom lens found on the GT7 Pro.
The design of the new product follows current trends – a vertical camera block in the style of the iPhone 16 and Redmi Turbo 4. Unlike the GT7 Pro, there will be a ring flash on the side of the device.
The smartphone will also have a powerful 6500 mAh battery, but it is not yet clear whether it will support 120W charging. The device, which will weigh 218 grams, will be the first model of the series with a black body color.
The GT7 is expected to launch in 2025 and will compete with other flagship killers like the OnePlus 13R.
