According to leaks, both devices will run on 13th generation Intel mobile processors. Also, if this rumor is confirmed, we expect the Surface to compete with Apple’s MacBook in terms of autonomy.
Microsoft is not expected to give up PixelSense Display technology. The 13.5-inch model will have a resolution of 2256 x 1504 pixels, while the 15-inch model will have a resolution of 2496 x 1664 pixels.
The processors that are said to be used in new products are Intel Core i5-1335U and Core i7-1355U. Both are 10 cores: two for high-performance tasks and eight for power efficiency.
A noticeable difference between them is the fundamental frequency and the Turbo Frequency. If you want to save money, the Core i5-1335U would make more sense.
As for memory, we are most likely expecting three RAM options – 8, 16 and 32 GB. The SSD can be replaced with a larger one, but initially only 256 and 512GB for the 13.5-inch model and up to 1TB for the 15-inch model.
According to sources, the 13.5-inch Surface Laptop 6 will last an hour longer than the 15-inch model – 21 hours versus 20.
