Blogger Deck Wizard decided to check if it is possible to play on the Steam Deck portable console, which is known to not be the most powerful hardware.
The results were impressive: Bloodborne launches and runs at a steady 30fps on Steam Deck, although drops are noticeable at some moments.
ShadPS4 v0.5.1 version of the emulator was used for testing. Deck Wizard has also released a step-by-step installation video for running the game on Valve’s portable device, making the process accessible even for beginners.
It’s worth noting that ShadPS4 is under active development. The emulator does not yet support many games, and most launched projects face bugs and poor performance, especially on weak devices.
