In total, in 2024, Russians purchased more than 24 million units of equipment online for a total of more than 458.4 billion rubles.
The most popular users of online sites were smartphones, headphones and speakers, which Russians bought 8.9 million, 3.7 million and 3 million times, respectively. Smartwatches and watches were much less common (2.3 million and 1.4 million, respectively).
A small number of televisions sold is compensated by their high cost: the volume of purchases in monetary terms amounted to 61 billion rubles, which exceeds the indicators of all other categories of equipment, with the exception of smartphones and laptops, the first DATA study showed.
According to him, online laptop sales amounted to 64 billion rubles, in total Russians bought 1.1 million devices.
Previously, Izvestia calculated that laptops were included in the top 3 leaders in price growth in Russia among consumer electronics, increasing by 10-15%at the beginning of the year. Devices from ASUS, Acer and HP have increased the most and above all, but Apple products fell in price by 7.5%.
