“Now, when buying foreign goods worth more than € 200, the amount of the rate is automatically calculated and includes in the price of the order. Now on the platform, this will only apply to goods from China, ”said the press service.
They pointed out that, according to current legislation, the limit for the purchase of foreign goods without paying tariffs is € 200 and 31 kg. If these values are exceeded, a rate of 15% of the excessive amount is used, but not less than € 2 for each additional kilogram.
Previously, buyers were supposed to pay customs camps in the link that reached the SMS of the customs corridor. “This could lead to all kinds of delays when placing an order. The new service in Wildberries will avoid additional actions, it will accelerate the delivery process and also provide the most convenient customer route, ”said the company.
Wildberries began to cooperate with sellers from China in December 2023. In December 2024, Financial Times reported that RPC vendors are actively expanding the presence in Russian markets, including wild knobs, in attempts to find new markets and Avoid Western tasks.
